The chicken industry claims that their chickens’ “growth is natural”. Don’t buy it. There’s more genetic engineering than a sci-fi movie.
Lameness, broken bones, heart attacks, organ failure, and respiratory collapse are routine among the one billion chickens farmed in the UK every year. Due to the overcrowded, filthy conditions and speed of growth, your chicken’s had more drugs than a hen do in Ibiza.
Gas Chambers
The meat industry calls gassing pigs “humane slaughter”. Don’t buy it. The pigs get gassed. And you get gaslit.
In England and Wales, 90% of pigs are gassed to death. The industry calls this “humane slaughter” but hidden cameras at a UK pig slaughterhouse, and at another which slaughters egg-laying hens, shows this is one whopper of a lie.
